Youngest Troutman Sanders' partner featured in Law360
April 6, 2010
Washington, D.C., partner Jonathan Cohen was featured as a Rising Star in an April 6
Law360 article.
The article said of Cohen, “despite a perceived jury bias against insurance companies, Troutman Sanders LLP’s Jonathan Cohen has helped clients…win trial victories, all while rising through the ranks to become the firm’s youngest partner and now earning a spot on Law360's list of 10 insurance lawyers under 40 to watch.”
“Cohen, 32, was promoted to partner at the beginning of 2010. He has been involved in product liability, tax, transactional, employment and many other matters over his legal career, but said that about three-quarters of his practice deals with insurance litigation,” the article continued.
About insurance litigation, Cohen commented that it often “has a reputation as being sort of boring, but I find it to be the complete opposite. … I think you can help juries and fact finders understand why insurance companies do what they do, and why those things are appropriate and necessary.”
