The Roanoke Times
May 2, 2010
Richmond director of Troutman Sanders Strategies Ken Hutcheson had his column, “Poor Mountain is rich in wind” published in the May 2 edition of The Roanoke Times.
In making an argument that the use of the Poor Mountain site in Roanoke County offers the commonwealth the opportunity to harness homegrown energy from one of its windiest spots, Hutcheson states, “Wind energy is a proven renewable energy source that has been in use in the United States for more than 120 years and is widely and safely used across the globe as a sustainable, zero-emission energy source.”
