Whitney’s practice focuses on advising insurers regarding coverage issues and litigating insurance coverage disputes, primarily in the area of directors and officers and professional liability coverage. She has successfully represented insurers in litigation before various federal and state courts.
Representative Experience
On behalf of an insurer, obtained summary judgment in the district court on the issue of whether insured had prior knowledge of potential claims which precluded coverage for the claims under the insurance policy.
On behalf of an insurer, obtained partial summary judgment in the district court finding that a subpoena was not a claim under the terms of the insurance policy.
