Troutman Sanders Ranks No. 1 in Associates Survey

The August 12 edition of the
Atlanta Journal-Constitution published a story about the law firm’s top ranking in a recent survey of associates by
American Lawyer magazine.
The article stated: “Atlanta-based Troutman Sanders ranked No. 1 among metro area law firms for new associates work according to
American Lawyer magazine. Troutman Sanders, which ranked No. 9 last year, rose in the national standings as well, leaping to 51 from 117 last year.
“The survey rates firms based on the responses culled from third- fourth- and fifth-year associates. It asks them about their satisfaction with their firms' policies on billable hours, willingness to stay there for another two years, compensation and benefits and other set factors. Fish & Richardson, last year's No. 1 in metro Atlanta, fell out of the Top 10 ranking.”
