According to Thomson Reuters, U.S. debt, equity and equity-related activity for issuer’s counsel during 2009 totaled approximately US$1.9 trillion in proceeds, a 28.3% increase from the proceeds raised in 2008. For manager’s counsel, there was approximately US$2.0 trillion of activity, a 26.8% increase from last year.
