Troutman Sanders Partner Named Norfolk Banking Lawyer of the Year

NORFOLK, Va. – Troutman Sanders LLP is pleased to announce that partner Richard C. Beale has been named as the “Norfolk Area Banking Lawyer of the Year” for 2010 by Best Lawyers.
After more than a quarter century in publication, Best Lawyers is designating “Lawyers of the Year” in high-profile legal specialties in large legal communities.
These specialties are Banking Law, Bet-the-Company Litigation, Corporate Law, Family Law, Personal Injury Litigation, and Real Estate Law, and only a single lawyer in each specialty in each community is being honored as the “Lawyer of the Year.”

At Troutman Sanders, Beale represents lenders and borrowers in commercial and real estate lending, including documentation, settlement, and collateral recovery involving real estate and personal property. He has extensive experience representing lenders in restructuring credit transactions.
Beale received a B.A. in 1971 from Hampden-Sydney College and a J.D. in 1974 from the University of Richmond.
