Troutman Sanders Attorney Named 'Rising Star' in Southern California

July 15, 2010

Irvine, Ca. – Troutman Sanders LLP is pleased to announce that Jeremy A. Rhyne has been selected for inclusion in the 2010 edition of Law & Politics’ Southern California Super Lawyers – Rising Stars Edition. He was recognized for his work in the primary practice area of business litigation.

For inclusion and distinction as a “Rising Star,” attorneys are selected by the most recent group of “Super Lawyers” – representing just 5 percent of attorneys in Southern California – and independent research by Law & Politics. The Super Lawyers are asked to vote for leading attorneys who are either 40 or under, or who have been practicing 10 years or fewer. They are also instructed to vote for lawyers they have personally observed in action (opposing counsel, co-counsel or other first-hand courtroom observation).

Only 2.5 percent of Southern California attorneys are named Rising Stars, and combined, they represent more than 60 practice areas.

At Troutman Sanders, Rhyne’s practice focuses on general commercial litigation. He also appears regularly before federal and state courts in California.

This marks the third year Rhyne has been selected for this honor; he was named a Rising Star in 2008 and 2009.
