Tina’s practice focuses on all aspects of employee benefits law relating to tax-qualified retirement plans (including 401(k) plans, pension plans, ESOPs and cash balance plans), non-qualified deferred compensation plans, welfare plans and executive and stock-based compensation. 

Representative Experience
Advises clients with respect to the design, implementation and administration of pension and welfare benefit plans.

Drafts plan and plan-related disclosures (including certain securities disclosures).

Advises clients with respect to the fiduciary standards under ERISA.

Advises clients on all aspects of executive compensation including the design, disclosure and implementation of supplemental executive retirement plans, excess benefit plans and employment agreements.

Advises clients on the design and implementation of equity compensation plans, including stock options, restricted stock, restricted stock units, phantom stock and stock appreciation rights.

Advises clients with respect to compliance with Code Section 409A.

Negotiates and coordinates employee benefits issues arising in mergers, acquisitions and other corporate transactions.

Advises clients on change in control and severance matters, including golden parachute issues.
