Timothy J. St. George Joins Troutman Sanders' Richmond Office

Richmond, Va. – The law firm of Troutman Sanders LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Timothy J. St. George as an associate to its Complex Litigation practice group in Richmond, Va.

St. George joins Troutman Sanders after completing a clerkship with the Honorable Robert E. Payne, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, where he served as a judicial law clerk from 2008-2009.

At Troutman Sanders, St. George’s practice will focus on the representation of clients in federal and state court, both at the trial and appellate level, with a particular emphasis on matters originating within the Eastern District of Virginia.

Prior to his clerkship, St. George worked as a summer associate with Troutman Sanders in 2006 and 2007 in Richmond, Va. He also held a senatorial internship with U.S. Senator John Warner in 2004 and a congressional internship with U.S. Representative J. Randy Forbes in 2003.

St. George received a B.A., with honors, from the University of Virginia in 2005, where he was an Echols Scholar and elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He received a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2008, where he was The Society of the Cincinnati Scholar, reached the semi-final round of the William Minor Lile Moot Court Competition, and graduated Order of the Coif.
