Ted is the managing partner of the Richmond office of Troutman Sanders and a member for the firm’s executive committee. His practice focuses on commercial lending, workout, bankruptcy and creditors' rights, banking, and consumer credit compliance.  

Representative Experience
Represented a major national bank, as agent, in a $225,000,000 secured syndicated credit facility to a coal company

Represented a national lender in connection with the restructuring of a $125,000,000 credit facility into revolving and term loan facilities

Represented a national leasing company acting as agent with the restructuring of a syndicated lease in the amount of $25,000,000

Represented a privately-held company in obtaining $170,000,000 in revolving and term loan facilities from a national lender to acquire a competitor and refinance its and the competitor's debt. Collateral included real estate and personal property in 15 states.

Represented a publicly-traded company in obtaining a $120,000,000 subordinated bridge facility extended by national capital markets participants
