Suraj’s practice focuses primarily on intellectual property counseling, litigation, and prosecution. He is a Registered Patent Attorney and regularly counsels clients on identifying, protecting, defending, and enforcing their intellectual property; including advising on invention patentability, licensing, non-infringement of intellectual property rights, and performing corporate due diligence studies focusing on intellectual property assets. His litigation experience includes drafting pleadings and motions, serving and answering discovery, preparing infringement contentions, expert witness preparation, and assisting with depositions and appellate briefing. His prosecution experience includes preparation and prosecution of patent applications in the U.S. and internationally.
Suraj received his bachelor’s degree in bioengineering and has experience with a wide range of technologies, including: graphics hardware, web-based advertising/tracking (affiliate advertising), chemical compositions, wireless receivers, complex financial systems/business methods, medical devices, computer network tools/software, and biotechnology.
