Real Estate Workout and Creditors' Rights
The Troutman Sanders Real Estate Workout and Creditors' Rights Group represents lenders, other capital providers and borrowers in connection with the workout, restructuring and remedy enforcement of all types of credit arrangements secured by real estate, including foreclosures, receiverships, litigation and bankruptcy associated therewith. Members of the group have expertise in real estate law, lending law, bankruptcy law, environmental law, corporate, partnership and limited liability company law and tax law, especially as those disciplines relate to credit transactions secured by real estate. Clients of the group include several of the largest national banking associations in the U.S. and a number of state banking associations, foreign banks and life insurance companies, as well as borrowers.
