The Real Estate Finance practice group represents lenders, other capital providers and borrowers in connection with construction loans, bridge loans, term loans, permanent loans, revolving lines of credit and other credit arrangements secured by real estate. A given transaction may involve a single property or may involve multiple properties located in the Southeast or in other parts of the country. Members of the Group have expertise in real estate law, lending law, bankruptcy law, environmental law, corporate, partnership and limited liability company law and tax law, especially as those disciplines relate to credit transactions secured by real estate. Clients of the Group include several of the largest national banking associations in the U.S. and a number of state banking associations, foreign banks and life insurance companies.
