Mike’s practice in the firm focuses on insurance coverage litigation. Recently, he has been involved in several general liability matters, including liability related to lead paint exposure. He also is involved in the representation of a risk retention group, Title Industry Assurance Company, RRG, for whom he addresses claims that implicate the errors and omissions policies of title agents. Mike currently is part of a team representing an insurance company in a telecommunications matter, involving potential liability for underlying class action lawsuits that involve unwanted text messages. He also is involved in the direct representation of a settlement agent with regard to a substantial foreclosure claim.
In addition, Mike is actively involved in the firm’s pro bono practice. He was part of the team that represented the parents of an autistic child, who were contesting the adequacy of the related services provided as part of their son’s individualized education plan. Currently, he is assisting a client referred by the Children’s Law Center in an adoption matter.
