Megan is an attorney in the Litigation section at Troutman Sanders, whose practice focuses on creditors’ rights with an emphasis on bankruptcy and representation of financial institutions and fiduciaries in complex commercial litigation. She also handles matters involving government contract financing and prime – subcontractor disputes.
Representative Experience
Representation of banks, financial institutions and other creditors in Chapter 11, 13 and 7 bankruptcy cases.
State and federal court creditor’s rights litigation, including breach of fiduciary duty, Miller Act and Little Miller Act claims, mechanic’s lien litigation, and breach of contract.
Litigation before the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals, Civilian Board of Contract Appeals and other federal agencies related to bid protest, equitable adjustment, performance and other government contract issues.
Counseling related to structuring of payment in government contracts, ensuring payment from the Government.
