Since joining the firm, Matt has worked on a variety of complex litigation matters at both the trial and appellate level.  Matt also counsels food and drug manufacturers in their dealings with federal, state and municipal regulatory authorities.    

Prior to joining the firm, Matt attended Vanderbilt University Law School, where he worked in the Appellate Litigation Clinic and represented a client in an appeal to the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Matt was also a member of Vanderbilt's 2009 Jessup International Moot Court team. The team placed first in the Southeast region and competed in the international rounds in Washington, D.C.  Matt was elected three times to serve on the Law School's Honor Council and he also worked as an Authorities Editor for the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law. Matt holds a bachelor of arts degree in Political Science and History from Miami University.
