Lynne's practice includes all aspects of environmental law, including air and water permitting, waste management issues, all appropriate inquiry in real estate transactions, brownfields redevelopment issues, water development projects, alternative and renewable energy , compliance with federal and state environmental laws, and environmental litigation. Lynne also has experience in general complex litigation, energy, local government and land use, government affairs, and animal law matters.
Representative Experience
Advises sellers and purchasers of real property on environmental liability, all appropriate inquiry protections, and contractual provisions.
Represents clients in providing comments on regulatory rulemakings.
Advises local governments on zoning and land use matters, including administrative appeals and litigation.
Assists waste industry clients with permitting, enforcement and compliance.
Advises traditional and alternative energy and manufacturing clients on environmental permitting at federal, state and local levels, including emerging climate change regulatory issues.
Advises clients on legislative and governmental affairs matters in Virginia, including those pertaining to animal welfare concerns.
Represents clients in Clean Water Act compliance and enforcement matters, including those involving wetlands and streams.
Advises industrial and commercial clients on indoor air quality issues and compliance with CERCLA, RCRA, HMTA, OSHA, TSCA, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, FIFRA, and various state laws.
