Kristina's practice focuses on labor-management relations, employment discrimination, and general litigation.
Representative Experience
Kristina is an associate in the firm's Labor and Employment practice group. She represents management in traditional labor issues, business immigration issues, employment discrimination matters, and litigation in state and federal court, including representation regarding Title VII, the Family and Medical Leave Act (FLMA), the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), the Older Workers Benefit Protection Act, Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), Virginia Human Rights Act (VHRA), Sections 1981, 1983 Civil Rights Claims, OSHA, USERRA, and employment agreements, noncompetition covenants, conspiracy, and employee breach of fiduciary duty claims. She has experience defending employers in class actions and counsels employers about employment agreements and handbooks, company policies and actions, employee complaints, compliance with federal and state employment, immigration, labor laws, and represents employers before federal and state administrative agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Department of Labor, Virginia Employment Commission, Virginia Worker's Compensation Commission, Virginia Department of Labor and Industry, Virginia Fair Housing Office, Immigration and Naturalization Services, and the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs.
