State and Local Taxation

Under the direction of the immediate past Revenue Commissioner for the State of Georgia, the Regulatory Compliance and Government Litigation and Tax Practice Groups together have developed a strong state and local taxation practice. The firm assists its clients with numerous state and local tax matters such as obtaining tax incentives and abatements; claiming refunds and exemptions; appealing tax assessments; and addressing numerous sales tax, alcohol regulatory, and unclaimed property issues.
