Open Records
With its members' expertise regarding the federal Freedom of Information Act and state open records laws, the Regulatory Compliance and Government Litigation Practice Group assists companies in addressing public access to documents in possession of government bodies. The Practice Group obtains for clients available documents, helps them protect trade secrets and other information that is exempt from disclosure, and generally advises clients in this important area of the law.
