Energy & Utility Construction
The Energy & Utility Construction team at Troutman Sanders is experienced in the following areas:
- Provision of procurement advice, contract drafting and contract negotiation assistance to utility owners and energy constructors across the country and internationally.
- During the course of energy construction projects, the team provides disputes-avoidance counseling, including project documentation assessments, in-house training in risk management techniques, and counseling of project staff in the review and resolution of potential claims.
- For those claims that cannot be avoided or resolved informally, the team has successfully litigated, arbitrated and mediated numerous and complicated contract-based disputes involving all types of energy and utility construction projects.
