Betty is an associate in the firm's Securities & Corporate Governance practice group and Corporate Practice Group. She joined the firm in 2008 and is a resident in the Richmond office.
Her practice focuses on the representation of public and private companies in connection with mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings and corporate governance.
Betty received her B.A. in Economics from the University of Virginia in 2003. In 2008, she received her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. Betty also served as Law Clerk for the United States Securities & Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C. Prior to attending law school, Betty worked as a Corporate Actions Analyst at Hemscott, Inc., a provider of financial data and stock price information on U.S., Canadian, and international publicly traded companies.
Betty is a member of the Virginia State Bar.
