This web seminar will provide an overview of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) as it pertains to the equipment leasing and finance industry. Points of discussion will include:
- tax incentives for business investment in renewable energy projects, including the production tax credit, the investment tax credit and the new program allowing cash grants in lieu of tax credits
- financing structures used to benefit from these incentives
- spending provisions that support energy and energy efficiency in the stimulus bill
- focus on the transmission and smart grid support, energy efficiency, renewable energy and clean coal technologies
