An Inclusive Environment

As an international law firm, diversity is an essential part of the firm’s success. Troutman Sanders’ inclusive environment allows the diversity of firm personnel to thrive.

It takes diverse perspectives to examine client issues from many angles in order to find the best solutions. Ashley L. Taylor Selected as One of the 50 Most Influential Minority Lawyers in America by the National Law Journal

Taylor
is a partner and executive committee member at Atlanta's Troutman Sanders. A former deputy attorney general for Virginia, he is carving out a practice helping some of the country's largest corporations defend multistate investigations brought by state attorneys general, and recently co-founded a new section of the American Bar Association focused on state attorneys general investigations. Taylor sits on the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights. Active in GOP politics, he was counsel to unsuccessful 2005 Virginia GOP gubernatorial candidate Jerry W. Kilgore.

Troutman Sanders hosts Princeton University Awards Ceremony

For the fourth consecutive year, Troutman Sanders LLP hosted The Princeton Prize in Race Relations Awards Ceremony on June 16 in Atlanta, Ga. Rev. Joe Roberts, pastor emeritus of world-famous Ebenezer Baptist church, was the events key note speaker.

The award, which recognizes high school students who have made significant and positive effects on race relations in their schools and communities, is sponsored by local Princeton University alumni. The winning Atlanta metropolitan student, Elizabeth ("Betsy") Helmer from Marist School, received a $1,000 first place prize. Jessica Collier, a recent graduate of Atlanta’s Frederick Douglass High School, was awarded a certificate of accomplishment.
