The Consumer Law/Trade Regulation Practice Group has extensive experience in representing clients in single and multi-state State Attorney General investigations. The Group includes two former Attorneys General, a former Deputy Attorney General, a former Assistant Commissioner of Consumer Affairs and consumer law professor at New York University School of Law, and several former Assistant Attorneys General. The Group combines its practical and academic knowledge of unfair and deceptive trade practices laws to regularly advise clients on dealing with State Attorneys General. We are proactive and attempt to resolve investigations before they result in actual litigation. Nonetheless, where that is not practical or advisable, we have formidable experience litigating these matters.
