Shanghai Minimum Salary Standard - 上海市实行新最低工资标准

Released on March 12, and effective on April 1, 2010
On March 28, 2010, the Shanghai Labor and Social Security Bureau (SLSSB) announced a circular outlining an increase on the minimum monthly salary for all full-time employees in Shanghai. With this adjustment, the minimum monthly salary in Shanghai will be increased from RMB960 to RMB1,120 starting as of April 1, 2010. In addition, the minimum hourly salary is also readjusted to from RMB8 to RMB9.
