SPC Circular on the Application of PRC Tort Liability Law (SPC JI 23) - 最高人民法院关于适用《中华人民共和国侵权责任法》若干问题的通知

On June 30, 2010, the Supreme People's Court (“SPC”) promulgated a Notice regarding the application to PRC Tort Liability Law.
It provides that (i) if a civil dispute arising from the tort acts occurs after the implementation of PRC Tort Liability Law, the court shall apply it; (ii) if the civil disputes arising from the tort acts occurring before the implementation of PRC Tort Liability Law but the consequences appeared after the implementation, the court shall apply it as well.
