Binh primarily represents insurance companies in complex coverage and bad faith litigation arising under directors and officers, employment practices liability, errors & omissions, and other professional liability policies. He also provides pre-litigation counseling and advice to insurers on coverage and claims-handling issues, and counsels insurers on strategies for minimizing exposure in underlying liability matters.
Binh also does work in the Bankruptcy and Commercial Litigation practice groups. He specializes in creditor's rights and has worked successfully to obtain favorable results for lenders.
Binh received his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2010, graduating cum laude. While in law school, he was a Production Editor on the Hastings Law Journal. Binh also was an extern for Judge Robert L. Dondero at the San Francisco Superior Court and for Judge John T. Noonan at the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Binh has served on the Troutman Sanders’ Diversity Committee and has been involved in the Orange County Diversity Task Force since 2011.
