Ben Noble is Vice-President of the Federal Affairs Division of Troutman Sanders Public Affairs Group. For nearly a decade Ben has been working in the public policy arena of Washington, D.C.
He most recently served as Vice President of Government Affairs for the USA Rice Federation where he established an in-house government relations office for the nation's largest rice trade association with multiple Fortune 500 members.
Prior to his work with Rice, Ben served as the cotton and textile industry liaison to Congress and the Administration through his employment with the National Cotton Council. His efforts were instrumental in obtaining the cotton industry's priorities during development of the 2002 Farm Bill and various trade negotiations.
Through his experience as a congressional staff person for members of the Senate Agriculture Committee, Senate Finance Committee and Senate Appropriations Committee, Ben gained an intimate knowledge of the legislative process and a diverse background in issues related to agriculture, trade, appropriations, rural development, transportation, sportsmen's issues, environment, research and financial matters.
Ben's experience in both the public and private sectors provides Troutman Sanders Public Affairs Group with an extensive set of contacts across a variety of industries and geographic regions.
Ben is a native of Ethel, Arkansas and remains involved with his family's rice farm, which has been in operation for four generations.
