Alicia counsels clients on the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights, with an emphasis on patent protection. Alicia holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in computer science, and she focuses her practice on prosecuting patent applications related to computer software, computer hardware, and business methods.
In addition to computer technology and business methods, Alicia's prosecution experience includes telecommunications, electrical engineering, medical devices, and mechanical devices. Alicia prepares international patent applications and coordinates with foreign counsel to prosecute foreign patent applications. Additionally, Alicia regularly prepares patentability and freedom-to-operate opinions in various technological fields.
