Adam’s practice focuses on commercial litigation involving contract disputes, securities fraud claims, restrictive covenant and raiding litigation, dissolution proceedings and intra-corporate disputes among partners, shareholders and members of limited liability companies. Adam also has experience in products liability cases involving medical devices, consumer law matters and administrative proceedings involving land use and zoning. He regularly appears before the Supreme Court of New York and Kings Counties and the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.

Representative Experience
Representation of inter-dealer broker executive in FINRA disciplinary action involving securities fraud claims and alleged violations of FINRA rules.

Representation of major pharmaceutical and medical device company in products liability and breach of warranty actions in New York State Supreme Court.

Representation of inter-dealer broker executive in restrictive covenant and raiding litigation in New York State Supreme Court.

Representation of private equity fund in international arbitration related to breach of term sheet and preferred share purchase agreement and fraud in connection with investment in mainland China-based biopharmaceutical research and development company. The Panel issued a multimillion dollar award in favor of the private equity fund, including $1 million in punitive damages.

Representation of retired officers and directors in suit to recover deferred compensation related to sale of real estate.

Project management of and consultation regarding electronically stored information (ESI) for litigation purposes.

Dec. 9, 2011) (Kern, J.) – Decision and order granting Article 78 petition to compel the Clerk of the County of New York to file and enter confessions of judgment.

Baldwin v. 3 East 10th Street Company, Inc., Index No. 651557/2010 (Sup. Ct. N.Y. Co., Nov. 24, 2010) (Ramos, J.) – Decision and order granting petition to confirm AAA arbitration award ordering auction of real property and other relief due to 50% shareholder’s breach of settlement agreement.

Crider v. American Sirloin Meat Co., Index No. 301400/2008 (Sup. Ct. Bronx Co., Oct. 28, 2008) (Stinson, J.) - Order denying motion to vacate default judgment after traverse hearing.
