23 Troutman Sanders Attorneys Named 'Rising Stars' in Virginia
July 15, 2010
RICHMOND, Va. – Troutman Sanders LLP is pleased to announce that 23 of its lawyers have been selected for inclusion in the 2010 edition of Law & Politics’ Virginia Super Lawyers – Rising Stars Edition. The list of attorneys will also be included in a special section in Richmond magazine.
For inclusion and distinction as a “Rising Star,” attorneys are selected by the most recent group of “Super Lawyers” – representing just 5 percent of attorneys in Virginia – and independent research by Law & Politics. The Super Lawyers are asked to vote for leading attorneys who are either 40 or under, or who have been practicing 10 years or fewer. They are also instructed to vote for lawyers they have personally observed in action (opposing counsel, co-counsel or other first-hand courtroom observation).
Only 2.5 percent of Virginia attorneys are named Rising Stars, and combined, they represent more than 60 practice areas.
