Taylor, Bean’s downfall garners TV coverage for Dantzler

The collapse of Taylor, Bean & Whitaker Mortgage Corp., once the nation’s 12th-largest U.S. home mortgage lender, has provided ample work for numerous Troutman Sanders lawyers and is still garnering press coverage for Atlanta partner David Dantzler.
On October 27, Dantzler appeared on CBS Atlanta affiliate 11 Alive in one if its “Center for Investigative Action” pieces, which focused on financial relief headed to homeowners embroiled in the collapse of Taylor Bean.
11 Alive asked Dantzler, who represents Taylor Bean’s new management team, if there would “be enough money in the bankruptcy proceedings to take care of homeowners?” He stated: “I have a high degree of confidence that there will be enough money to satisfy all the concerns of individual borrowers and the problems they’ve experienced as a result of this collapse.”
