Stephenson’s legal work helps Atlanta win Hall of Fame

Atlanta partner John Stephenson describes his work in helping Atlanta win the College Football Hall of Fame an “exercise in patience” in a story published October 1 in the Daily Report.
Stephenson, who has provided pro bono legal counsel to the Chick-fil-A Bowl for several years, was tapped more than a year ago by bowl President Gary Stokan to be the lead attorney in the city’s quest to lure the hall away from South Bend, Ind.
What was Stephenson’s motivation? “I’m an Atlanta guy. I’m a football fan. And I was raised on Chick-fil-A sandwiches.”
